Description: Lovely vintage mid 20thC century Imari lidded jewelry or trinket box by Royal Crown Derby in “Traditional Imari” pattern. The box features gilded accents and decorated in popular, Japanese Imari style decorations with blue and red floral decoration, embellished with gilded accents. The pattern is referred to as “Traditional Imari” Marked with Royal Crown Derby mark and date mark representing 1966 production period mark. Measures about 4.5”long and 3.75””wide. Condition: use related marks and scratches, wear on the underside/foot, production/firing imperfections. No crazing noted. Production related blemishes. Minor rough areas around rims but nothing major. Wear to decorations and gilt very minor - age and use related. The lid fits well but slightly wobbly. Please study pictures closely for more details. I posted many pictures and close-ups to allow my customers to study the condition of this item.
