Cyril Gorainoff was a Russian American who opened a small gift shop in New York City on Madison Ave. in the 1920s. Fun fact in the 30s he entered a contract with Abercrombie and Fitch stores in the 1930s featuring a sporting line of hunt scenes, dogs, and birds. To add to the cool factor of the artist was also commissioned to do White House china during the Eisenhower administration. All of that to say this is a very special set of 5 game bird glasses in AMAZING condition. Gold gilt edges are still intact with amazing hand painted details.
