Description: LOT of 4 Antique Vintage Shaving Mug / Bowls – Silver + Milk Glass + Filigree & Ceramic Razor Crock This is a fantastic lot of antique shaving epherma. 4 Shaving Mugs and one ceramic razor holder.Metal of the filigree mug holders unknown, maybe silver plate, maybe copper. The inserts / cups appear to be Milk Glass. Very nice condition. 2 of the metal outer sleeves are silver – see photos. The maker’s marks say “Marion Silver” and “Apollo Silver Quadruple Plate.” The Razorbrite Bath Razor Holder is stamped “Pat 1981853. Pat. 2027899 Trade mark Reg. U.S. Pat Office” Various conditions – brush holder is broken on one of the cups. Significant tarnish and cleanup needed if you wish to restore these to looking new. These will clean up very nicely – I cleaned up the bottoms of the silver ones to see the maker’s mark, and the tarnish wiped off without too much effort. See photos. Includes 2 brushes – very old and beat up, but they go nicely with the overall aesthetic of the lot. This is either a great addition to your shaving collection, or a great way to jump-start a collection!
