Description: Vintage Simplex 100% Copper Whistling Tea Kettle Made in England (1940s). On the bottom is stamped: Made in England, Guaranteed Solid Coper, Patents 400709-402190, Regd No 786743. Ball in spout (will rattle when tilted) is how the kettle whistles. I tested and it still whistle. I've left the patina and will let you polish it up if so desired. This holds 8 cups. The kettle is in good shape with a few minor dents/scratches which are shown in photos. There is a little wear on the wood handle. Bottom diameter - 7.5"Height - 9" Weight: 1.75 lbs
