Description: Vintage Sleeping Realistic Newborn Twin 9" Porcelain Baby Dolls (Boy & Girl). These were made by an artist here in Indiana, I believe Terra Haute. I got these at an estate sale and I was told the name of the lady who made them. I think I was told that they were called "Dolls by Christie". I could be wrong on that name but that's what I recall. These were made as a gift for a mothervwho had just had a boy & girl twins. The dolls have porcelain faces and hands wiith beanie caps and yellow jumpers. They are filled with some type of beads and they are pretty lightweight at 9 oz. together. No breaks or cracks in the porcelain and no rips or holes in the dolls.
