Description: This pair of solid bronze bookends have the weight and poise to hold together a section of larger books. Being made of solid bronze they are heavy and will not easily slide. The thinker was created by Rodin in 1904 and represents creative thought. It is thought that he was inspired by dante's Inferno and this sculpture is of Dante contemplating and thinking about life and humanity. Condition is very good, no Issues. Measurements are: 4 1/8 by 1 7/8" and 5 1/2" tall.
