Description: DESCRIPTION: These Stangl "Bittersweet" pattern coffee/tea cups are being sold individually, all together, or you may choose any number in between. These cups can be used with the cup saucers or dessert plates I have listed separately. This grouping of cups are in excellent condition, No obvious defects noted, but in full disclosure...there maybe some very slight imperfections I missed. The glaze on all is rich and glossy. I'm selling these separate for those who are collecting and may only need a few pieces to complete their sets. I have an extensive collection of Bittersweet pieces that I am listing...stay tuned! These cups are hand painted, so there will be slight difference in each piece. The Bittersweet pattern was introduced by Stangl in 1962 (Retired in 1978) and was made of clay that came from Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Tennessee & locally to their Trenton, New Jersey plant, all blended for their own individual properties. This red-bodied clay became synonymous with the Stangl name. I will be listing "Imperfect" Bittersweet items under different listings with discounted prices. Great deals, so check those out too! GENERAL NOTE: All items are described to the best of my ability and will include any defects in my description, if applicable. The item(s) will arrive as-is and as shown in the above photos. Please examine the photos completely and carefully to make sure you will be satisfied with your purchase.
