Description: Vintage Sterling Silver Bracelet Heavy Gauge Spiny Oyster Navajo D&D Clark This is a tremendous heavy gauge sterling silver cuff bracelet that features a stunning spiny oyster shell cabochon, silver overlay work, and hand stamp work. The artist set the spiny oyster in a serrated bezel and surrounded it with silver dots (or water dots). An overlay technique was used to create a traditional kokopelli figure on one side and geometric shapes on the other. The band is 1 1/2" wide. The spiny oyster cabochon is 5/16" by 1/2". The inner circumference is 5 3/4" with an additional 1 3/16" wrist gap. It will fit a 6 15/16" wrist (just shy of 7"). It weighs a notable 99 g. The artist's hallmark is "DD" indicating Navajo artisans Donny and Dorothy Clark. Please measure your wrist twice and know your size BEFORE purchasing this bracelet. Because there is a stone set in this bracelet, opening it up by hand could crack the silver or loosen the stone. The same things can happen if you squeeze the bracelet too hard to make it smaller.
