Description: This vintage Strawberry Shortcake doll comes with her complete original outfit, comb, and friend Custard the cat. Strawberry Shortcake is in great played with condition. Her face paint is excellent and her joints work well. She is very clean and ready to be displayed or gifted. Her clothes are bright and have no holes or stains. The back ribbon tie on the dress is frayed at the ends; I leave it to you to decide whether or not to trim. :) At almost 45 years of age, she no longer smells of berries. Like many other vintage Strawberry Shortcake dolls, this doll has what I would consider thinly rooted hair. There is no damage or missing hair; it's just how she was manufactured. Kenner didn't root these dolls' hair very thickly, knowing that their bonnets would stay on most of the time anyway. :) Custard is in rough shape, but still cute. Some of his paint is worn off and his ear is missing a little chunk. He's seen adventure. The comb has seen better days, but it's clean. Please see photos.
