Description: Vintage Susan Bates knitting needle case or needle holder, with a cloth cover, a metal zipper that opens it, and clear plastic sheaths on the inside that hold needles. Colorful floral motif on outside of case with a design that suggests the 1960's or 1970's. Also has white mini-sheath (a separate item--see pictures) with the Bates logo on it; this mini-sheath slides into one of the inner sheaths. Note that this sale includes the case ONLY, and does not include any needles (the needles are no longer extant). Roughly 15 inches long by 6 1/2 inches wide; opens out to double that size (see pictures; note that pictures depict the actual item). Condition good; note that there is some fading and staining on the outside, including a possible coffee stain (see pictures). The zipper opens and closes just fine.
