It winds but I also don't want to over wind the item. I have not been successful getting it to run but I also know very little about this item and don't want to make it any worse than it already may be. Or it could be a simple fix that I don't know.It is complete with the plastic liner to the swing chair and it is in good condition not tears or problems with the liner. Fun item. I really was unsure on how to put the swing together as it had been stored for a very long time. Vintage late 60's early 70's. I do not have the original box.All plastic on seat is intact. Includes chair cover. Chair and metal hanging rods come apart for storage and will be shipped flat. Since this has been stored over time the seat seems to want to remain flat but I am sure with some time it will be more conducive to the folded shape. The plastic of the chair seems supple. Overall very good condition considering the age. Legs fold in for storage.
