Description: Here is a Tecumseh model 143 sump case cover that came off of a vintage Sears Craftsman 7/24 snowblower. It is in good structural condition. Please check the serial numbers in pics. 8, 9 & 10 for your particular application. The cover is in decent usable shape. The cover isn't dented, cracked,or stripped. The bearing surfaces look good with minimal wear. Included are the original mounting bolts, and gasket which shows some age, but could be cleaned up and used again. A good readable dipstick is included, with typical plastic tab damage, but still threads in ok. This cover is solid, with a good advance gear and lever. All fasteners are included. Cosmetically, this cover is still in decent looking shape. It had been re-sprayed a deeper red at one time. Not much for rust, as it's just too dry here in the high desert of Colorado to promote brutal rust-out! This is a good re-builder cover. These 1970's Tecumseh/Sears 143 model motors are getting harder and harder to find in usable shape anymore. Very usable stuff here too!
