Description: Vintage Two Tone Glazed Stoneware Ceramic Crock Marmalade Pot Jar with Cork Stopper This vintage two-tone glazed stoneware ceramic crock features a very traditional design consistent with British manufacture. It bears no maker's mark or label, but appears to have been made to hold marmalade or jam. There is only one decorative element on this piece, which consists of a dotted band in the ceramic that separates the two colors. A wonderful farmhouse rustic style collectable, it is perfect for display, use or repurposing, and would make a lovely addition to your home. Before being listed in my store the crock and cork were carefully hand washed and dried. This item will be ready to use or display upon receiving. Overall it is in very good or better pre-owned vintage condition. There are no cracks, nicks, chips or repairs. There is one unglazed round spot that appears to have been made from a bubble in the glaze. There are signs of wear from age, use and storage, which includes but is not limited to scuff/scratch marks. Due to the hand crafting process involved in creating this piece there may be a few naturally occurring unique imperfections such as extra bits of clay material and variation in the coloring, glaze application, design and finish.
