Description: LAST ONE Long Beach Naval Shipyard Commemorative plaque. Offered here is a vintage unused plaque from the Long Beach Naval Shipyard Commemorative Gulf Tournament that was held to support the Commemorative Plaza of inscribed bricks located at the Long Beach Lighthouse that was developed by The LBNSY Friends of the Navy Organization. There were around 120 of these made. This was all done shortly after the Long Beach Naval Shipyard was closed and being dismantled. These plaque's were produced in the production shop for awards given out for outstanding achievements by shipyard personnel . This plaque was never issued. Description: This plaque is approx 9" x 7" Photo-Metal on wood wood base. As you can see in the photos there is no wear or damage to the plaque or wood base. The hardware for hanging is built in. Condition: Excellent Condition, There may be some tiny imperfections from the time it was made. I could not really see any. Shipping:.
