Description: Here is a wonderful old Christmas table runner in green felt, measuring 13 x 42. It features heavy felt fabric, likely wool, with borders of ornaments strung on pine boughs. There are various size stars in the middle. Designs are made of heavy flocking in white and metallic gold. It has a timeless yet dramatic look. This is an unusual runner, not red, as many are and with simple yet embellished details. I believe it to be from the 30s or 40s. The fabric resembles old antique college pennants, which were made of wool. There are several holes, which have developed over time. They are not visible unless the textile is held up to the light. They go unnoticed on the table. Still, I have tried to show them, and also a small area of discoloration. Otherwise, bright and still intact for the age. Guaranteed to be old, and uncommon.
