Description: Up for sale is this elegant brass trivet made by Virginia Metalcrafters, which was in business from 1895 to 2006. I don't know when it was manufactured, but it was wrapped in a newspaper from 1997, so it's at least that old. It features the letters "GR" intertwined, which you could see as a reference to King George ("George Rex") or your own initials if you happen to have the initials GR! The back says "CW10-9" which apparently indicates that this was made to be sold at Colonial Williamsburg. The back also has the VM logo, "KING GEORGE," and the copyright notice (the last digit is illegible, but apparently this should say 1949). The trivet measures approximately 5" x 3 3/4" x 5/8". There are some surface imperfections on both front and back. I'm leaving it up to the buyer to polish it (or not). If it originally had rubber caps on the feet, they are missing now. Please review all photos and ask any questions before ordering, as you will receive the exact item pictured. Please check out my other items if you get a chance. This will come from my smoke-free, pet-free, and fully-vaccinated home. Thanks for looking.
