Description: This is a vintage jar, or bottle, with a decal or paper label, and a tin screw-on lid. The label reads, "BRICE SOUR PICKLES...CONTS. 6 OZ...Packed By T. L. BRICE COMPANY. SHERMAN, TEXAS." Located at North Branch & Sycamore Streets in Sherman, Texas, at one time this was one of the largest pickle factories in the Southwest. It measures 5 & 3/4 inches tall. The lid is just under 2 inches wide. This is a recent attic find. It does not have a date, but some of the other jars I found with it were from the 1930's & 1940's, and I think that this is from around the same time period - give or take. The condition is VERY GOOD to FINE. There are no chips or cracks in the glass and the label is still very nice. There is a little paint wear and a couple spots of rust on the edge of the lid. It is guaranteed to be old & original, or your money back. I am here to help you with any questions!
