Description: An original pair of French Army Model 1935 canvas over trousers, worn during WW2 as well as in the post-war period. This pattern was introduced in 1935. This pair is stamped 1947. Used by tank crews, armoured car crews & motorcyclists. Designed to be worn as an outer layer over the top of trousers which means they are cut in an oversized manner. Excellent vintage condition! This is a laundered deadstock item. Appears to have never been issued or worn-except for these photos. No defects found! Fabric: Heavy weight duck cotton canvas. Canvas is a bit stiff. Button Fly (wooden buttons), heavy duty hook & slide at waist Waist belt is permanantly stitched to the rear of the trousers and fastens with a wire buckle.
