Issued by Eastman Kodak in the late 1930s and early 1940s to promote their x-ray film to doctors and chiropractors. Chiropractic health care was founded in 1895, the same year that Professor Roentgen of Germany discovered the x-ray. Chiropractors were among the first professionals to use the x-rays for spinal study. In 1934, the first successful full body x-ray picture showing the entire skeletal system of an adult was made in cooperation with the Eastman Kodak Company. This poster is a beautiful representation of this time period. Frame measures a little over 22x34”. Condition: Good; Wear consistent with age and use.
