It is marked with the Boy Scout Logo and reads "BE PREPARED". The Hatchett is by Bridgeport Mfg. Corporation in Bridgeport, Connecticut. It's strong and sturdy! A terrific piece to add to your vintage tool collection! More neat stuff in our store! Size and Makeup : Approx. 13 1/2" long, The head is about 5" long by 3 1/4" wide (at blade's edge). Made of wood, and metal. Condition : There is typical minor wear from use and age. Otherwise, the axe looks to be in good shape! No dings or dents on the blade.
