Description: 11-inch Bye Lo Baby in excellent condition following a mishap in Oct 2012, which resulted in a professional repair by "Treasured Collectibles and Doll Hospital" in Slidell Louisiana. They expertly put her bisque porcelain head back together and she looks amazing--see photos of the shop's FB page for details of the repair, attached. This doll belonged to my mother and photos of her, with friends, and their new babies in circa 1920's are included as 'provenance'. The doll was originally purchased from Foley's, for Christmas, in 1925. She comes with additional antique, mostly handmade, clothing items from 1925, including 4 nightgowns, one dress, one lace dress top/'shrug', one sweater, one slip, 2 diapers, pair of socks, and one appliqued cloth blanket. She looks adorable in each of these. Her eyes open and shut correctly. Her hands are intact. The voice box is present but not operable. The Grace Putnam name is present at the back of her neck.
