Description: This vintage trinket box is made of a polished genuine clam shell surrounded by a metal rim that creates a closure snap and a hinge, both of which work very well. The shell has a 1/2" shallow scratch near the closure and a black dot on the reverse which appears to be original to the shell. There is some discoloration of the metal near the closure. The price reflects these flaws in the piece which is otherwise in good condition. The shell measures approximately 2 1/2" x 3".
