Description: Hand carved with top taken off to be used as vase for dried flowers or perhaps a pencil holder. There is a signature on the bottom. The bear and landscape/plant design was created by wood burning. The bottom was cut off so that the 'vase' will stand flat. The top holds irregular 'wood?' pieces, however 2 of them are missing. The bottom shows some 'gourd' cracking. The inside was died black. I Vintage items may have signs of wear.
