Description: Vintage Hershey's Chocolate Store Advertising Display Metal Wire Rack Holder for Syrup, Candy, More A rare and hard to find collectible, this metal wire rack is a wonderful vintage store advertising display piece made to hold Hershey's chocolate products. Based on the style of the logo, Mrs. Edna's best guess is that this item was used in the late 1960s to the mid 1970s. She believes that it is made of steel because a magnet will stick to it. The word HERSHEY'S is embossed or stamped into each of the metal end panels. A similar rack online said that it was used to display Hershey's chocolate syrup in a refrigerated case, for example near ice cream or milk, mounted in place using suction cups (which are not included in this sale). Another online listing said it was used for candy. Syrup display? Candy holder? Anything and everything is possible. The best part is that you can't go wrong when the choice is yours, however you decide to use it. This item is in close to very good pre-owned vintage condition. There are signs of wear from age, use and storage, which includes but is not limited to scuff/scratch marks, small spots/marks, some rust and missing bits of paint.
