Beautiful pierced design allows light to radiate out and paint patterns on a surrounding wall or surface. Lamp has two large cartouches in which Persian architecture is featured. Flowers, birds and other typical Persian design motifs are painted in the polychrome enamel surrounding areas. Lovely classic vase form. Measures approx. 8” tall and approx. 3-1/2” at widest point. Lamp is in fine working condition with a red bulb and blue cord. Bulb can easily be changed by unscrewing a tiny screw at base whereby the bulb holder slides out of the bottom. Replace bulb, then holder, and simply tighten screw back in. Rust and wear noted throughout.
