Vtg Rolf Armstrong VTG MCM Hires Root Beer Illustration 1933 No Frame Read

Description: This June 24, 1933 Hires Root Beer advertisement features a Rolf Armstrong illustration. Rolf Armstrong (1889-1960) was one of America's finest creators of pin-up art. In 1960 the New York Times described him as "the creator of the calendar girl." The Hires Root Beer ad is approximately 10.5" x 13.75" in image size and is in very good condition, with a rough edge on the right side of the page. It comes from the June 24, 1933 edition of The Saturday Evening Post. 2 Available both pictured. Near mint condition. 1 has very small tear top of page. Does not tear into ad. See pics ask questions.
