He earned two Academy Awards for Best Actor nominations for his role in Mrs Miniver (1942) and Madame Cuie (1943). Pidgeon also starred in many films such as THE BAD AND THE BEAUTIFUL (1952)FORBIDDEN PLANET (1956), Voyage To The Bottom Of The Sea (1961), Funny Girl (1969).He received a Star on The Hollywood Walk Of Fame in 1960, and A Screen Gild Life Achievement Award in 1975. This unique and original unpublished photo was taken by a fan at the MGM Studios lot, showing Walter Pidgeon smoking, later signed when they met again.We have obtained different unpublished photos from that same fan. All showing 1940's and 1950's Movie Stars, all from the same MGM lot.The lady fan was really into getting autographs from the Stars that worked at MGM Studios during the late 1940's and early 1950's.We will be listing some other unpublished photographs from different mega Stars of Classic Hollywood.
