There is a built-in overflow box with predrilled holes (1" return, 1.5" drain, and ¾" hole for running electricals) Canopy is a 15" front open canopy (see pictures) with a 36" stand with two cabinet doors. Please note, this is a handcrafted wood stand and canopy, and slight variations in wood pattern and color between the stand and the canopy may be present. This is a naturally occurring variation in the wood and will not interfere with the integrity and usage of the tank. Display models may have very slight imperfections that DO NOT INTERFERE WITH USAGE. There are some minor distortion marks on the tank; it does not interfere with integrity of the tank.
