It is definitely Steampunk material.This fan is in good working condition and currently set up as a one speed fan. This industrial fan came from an industrial environment.The switch is a standard light switch and I believe it is a modification done in the shop it came from when the variable switch failed.You could put a multi speed switch on it if you want to."Drills" is engraved on it in one place and "welding" is welded into it in another, indicating it was moved around a shop over the years. There is a metal tag on it that says "SUEL". It's probably to signify ownership and to catalog as company equipment.There are no Westinghouse tags on it, but I matched it up with others in my research and I'm quite certain that it is indeed Westinghouse.
