Description: So, this is a very nice piece handcrafted by David Farrell back in 1997. It measures 10" in diameter and is 2" high at the edge. Now, I'm not sure if this is part of the technique, but there is crackle under the glaze. It is the entire surface which leads me to believe it was part of the firing process. It does look pretty with this effect. Other than that, I see no issues with this piece. It is Red Ware. It is brown with black slip-trailed straight and squiggle geometric lines around the perimeter.
