Description: Russian White Movement , Civil war, Numbered Cross #147 “ CROSS OF THE YEKATERINOSLAV CAMPAIGN “ on original ribbon. (Museum copy) The Cross was established by order of the Commander - in- Chief of the Russian Army, General WRANGEL, dated June 6, 1920 # 3303, for all members of the detachment of General Vasilchenko who made the transition from YEKATERINOSLAV to the Crimea on November 27, 1918-January 2,1919, as a reward for valour shown during the campaign. Silver cross of the form of St. George cross, black enamel with a white wide border around the edges of the sides. The sides of the cross are connected by a silver wreath of thorns, in the middle of the cross is a shield with the coat of arms of the city YEKATERINOSLAV in a blue field, a gold monogram image of the name of Empress Catherine II, surrounded by nine gold stars under the gold imperial crown. On the reverse side of the cross is the number of the recipient. The cross was worn on the ribbon of Russian national colors .The cross was placed to the left of the Orders of St. George all degrees and the St. George medals.to the right of all other orders, insignia and medals.
