Description: Four images of this charming, 108-year-old book are shown below. It is: Stories to Tell the Littlest Ones, by Sara Cone Bryant, Published by Houghton Mifflin, 1916, first edition. It measures 8 1/2" x 6 1/2" and is 176 pages and in Very Good condition with the binding lettering pretty-much worn away (i.e., please see image #4 below), with an untaped tear to the spine margin of one of the illustrations (image #2 below), and with some gentle overall wear. There are six, full-page, color illustrations by Willy Pogany; they are printed on glossy paper, which is blank on the reverse. Pogany also has done several line drawings throughout (six of which are full-page and blank on the reverse), and he has fully-decorated the endpapers (please see image #3 below for a detail). There is no former-owner's bookplate inside, no writing inside, and there are no loose pages; the book will be shipped in a solid new box anywhere in the United States via USPS Media Mail for free.
