Description: Very nice 1955 copy of Within the Golden Gate - a survey of the history, resources, and points of interest in the Bay Region designed to acquaint visitors with its past accomplishments and its future promise by Oscar Lewis and the San Francisco Bay Area Council. The covers fold out too - front cover fold out shows the Golden Gate Bridge; the back cover fold out shows the SF Bay Bridge. Very nice inside; the cover is bent a little (see last pic). About 50 pages; measures 11 x 8 1/2" and is a paperback. There are two photos where the caption is missing some writing (one example is pic 7). This was a printing issue when the book was printed. I do not ship outside the US; your satisfaction is my goal.
