Description: I’m listing this as for parts, but it is partially working and can probably be fixed and in working condition relatively easily, but that would be beyond my level of expertise. I replaced the belt and the motor turns the pulleys/gears great in play mode, as long as there isn’t a tape in the deck. When trying to play a tape, it goes for about 5 seconds and stops spinning. Fast forward seems similar. Rewind has a clicking sound and goes for a couple seconds but isn’t really functional. Considering that the motor works and the buttons work to a certain degree, I think this unit is close to being a great one if you’re familiar with how to repair it. No battery cover. The spring for the door latch will be included but is not installed as I don’t know how to put it in place. Includes the awesome belt clip. Selling as-is, no returns considering that I’ve clearly listed the problems and it is sold for parts/repair.
