Description: Way Motor Works Black Noise Maker Replacement Delete Turbo Outlet Hose for MINI Cooper S R55 R56 R57 with N14 engine This machined aluminum pipe is a direct replacement for the plastic pipe that has the outlet for the noise maker diaphragm. Look at the last picture and you can see how the pipe replaces the noise maker. By removing the noise maker you will notice improved throttle response and a hair more power as the noise maker will actually bleed off boost. This will eliminate that loss. On the N14 engine Cooper S there is a noise generator that is part of the stock hose that bleeds off boost to activate. This hose will delete that noise generator removing that boost bleed and extra hose, and in turn improve the throttle response and possibly even increase hp. The later N18 engine cars didn't have the noise generator, so this hose will not fit or do anything.Made of machined aluminum to be strong, and be and exact replacement. It is machined for the original clip to slide in the grove and lock to the top hose. See the third picture in the set as it will show you where it installs.
