Description: This is a truly wonderful and rare example of a 19th century diminutive country stool. The stool is constructed with mortise and tenon joints and is additionally secured with wood pegs. Attractive scrolled sides that are canted as opposed to merely straight sides. Excellent dry surface that never had paint or varnish of any kind. It is in marvelous condition aside from some glue underneath to secure the sides. It measures 8 1/2" wide x 7" high x 5" deep. A really unusual gem of a early country primitive. Don't miss out on this one!
