With a clean sleek design with smooth curved edges, they are handcrafted from solid poplar hardwood in our woodshop here in Cedar Hill, Texas. Each block is individually made with meticulous attention to every detail to ensure a quality piece. All surfaces are sanded completely smooth, and dye stained with high quality dye solution that penetrates the wood fibers. The blocks are then sealed with a gloss lacquer protecting the natural wood and sealing in the color. It's also easy to clean with its glossy smooth finish. The bottom of each hole is lined with felt for protection of any delicate items. The dimension of the cubes is 1 15/16 in. (5 cm) on all sides. The diameter of the hole is 3/4 in. (19.05 mm) and the hole is 1 5/8 in. (4.1 cm) deep which will accommodate most pens or pencils. This holder is made with a natural material that will vary in grain and color tints. However, the actual holder will be very similar to the images shown. NOTE: Pen & pencil in image is not included, for reference only.
