Description: This is a EGYPTIAN THEATER BROCHURE from Hollywood California for the WORLD 3-D FILM EXPO 2003 at the EGYPTIAN THEATER in Hollywood California THE WORLD 3-D FILM EXPO SEPTEMBER 12 - 21, 2003 A ONCE IN A LIFETIME EVENT FEATURING 33 FEATURES AND 21 SHORT SUBJECTS ALL IN DUAL PROJECTION POLAROID 3-D September 12 - 21, 2003 All programs will be presented at the World Famous Egyptian Theatre in the heart of Hollywood, California, USA. This 10 day festival will be, simply put, the biggest and most thorough group of screenings ever done, anywhere in the world, of stereoscopic films from the 1950s. No anaglyphic (red/blue) "3-D" here; all films at the Expo will be run as they were intended to be seen: In 35mm "double interlock", Polaroid System, on the huge Egyptian Theatre screen in Hollywood, U.S.A! And what a group of films! Not only are we screening titles like "Dial M For Mur-der", "House of Wax", Kiss Me Kate (in stereophonic sound!) and "Phantom of the Rue Morgue", we will be showing a large body of work not seen in 3-D in over half a century! From "CREATURE FROM THE BLACK LAGOON" ' to "Gog" and "Money From Home" (Martin and Lewis) to "The Glass Web" and "I, the Jury", in many cases we will be showing the only surviving prints. In some cases, both "eyes" do not survive in printable form, meaning that they will NEVER be printed in 3-D again! We will also be showing over 20 short subjects, and again, the rarity of much of this material cannot be over emphasized. Included will be rare cartoons, such as the two Walt Disney cartoons, not shown in a public venue for 50 years. tion, such shorts such as "Doom Town", "Motor Rhythm", "Love For Sale", "Nat King Cole" and many, many others will be screened. Finally, try not to miss our "Rarities in 3-D" screening. This program will encompass not only 3-D material not seen in 50 years, but also material Never Ever seen We don't want this to sound like Hollywood Hype, but in this case, it's true: If you miss seeing these rare prints at the World 3-D Film Expo, it is extremely unlikely you will ever have another chance to see them in a theatrical setting, in 3-D, on the big screen. Tickets are $10.00 per show (all individual shows; no double bills) and a festival pass is available, which not only guarantees you a seat, but also priority seating and a free copy of our souvenir book! Save a total of $50 and see all of the shows! 3-D Glasses (Polaroid Type) will be required for all shows. If you do not have a pair, you can purchase them at the Egyptian Theatre for 25 cents each. If you so choose, premium 3-D Polaroid Glasses will be on sale at both the website and the Egyptian Theatre. Over the years, there have been many different methods used to photograph and World 3-D Film Expopresent 3-Dimensional images. The Polaroid System uses two projectors interlocked together projecting through clear filters, with one projector showing the left image and one showing the right image. The Polaroid glasses that are basically clear (they have a slight gray tint) also contain the same Polaroid material, resulting in each eye seeing only the proper left or right image. Since they are clear, the viewer can watch the film in full rich color or startling black and white. This system is NOT new.DOdで入りのIt was first shown publicly at the 1939 World's Fair to great acclaim. All of our films September 12 - 21, 2003 will be shown in this process, the BEST possible way to see any 3-D film! Item in good condition, please see pics Multiple purchases can combine shipping.
