WW1 British Australian M1907, 1909 dated, D/|\D marked, Wilkinson bayo sword

Description: WW1 British Australian M1907, 1909 dated, unit marked, Wilkinson hooked quillon bayonet. Steel pommel with working release button, good wooden grips and metal hooked cross-guard stamped V4112. A 43cm blade with crisp WILKINSON makers stamp with numerous inspectors marks and 10 09 manufacture date. Blade edge shows sharpening marks but is dull, blade surface is bright. Scabbard of good leather with metal mounts, Remington RE stamp to top mount with D/|\D 2 stamped to lip, Lithgow 'A star' to drag. Overall length 58cm. Scarce bayonet in good condition.All original.
