Description: WW2 (1944) British ARMY / AIR Map "KONSTANZ" (Germany) - which apparently, due to its location directly on the border with neutral Switzerland, never adhered to night-time blackouts in order to fool Allied bombers into thinking it was actually part of Switzerland. The bluffing strategy worked and despite being clearly visible every night it was never bombed. The map also includes Zurich and sections of the borders between Lichtenstein, Switzerland and Germany Dated 11/44 Condition is excellent. Please see my other WW2 (and WW1) maps. (Seller's Ref - EB7)PLEASE NOTE - Following BREXIT, some items exported from the UK to EU countries may now incur import tariffs on arrival. This depends on the overall value of the item (or items) contained within the package. UK sellers are now required to display these details in the form of a Customs Declaration attached to the outside of the package. Such matters are beyond my control as the process is administered by the Customs Department of the destination country. With this in mind, please can all buyers from EU countries make themselves aware of how these changes may affect them when purchasing items from the UK. Thank you in advance for your patience and understanding.
