Description: My wife's grandfather served in WW2 in Germany for the 1st Canadian Parachute Battalion, and he brought back many things from Germany. Among them is this pair of KP GOERZ Bratislava Polini Kukatko binoculars. You can see a pair of these binoculars at this address: https://www.worthpoint.com/worthopedia/vintage-goerz-german-field-20913366 Also here: https://fernglasmuseum.at/museum/goerz_bratislava_polni_kukatko_6mal30_2/goerz_bratislava_polni_kukatko_6mal30_2.html Note that mine have etched serial numbers and such, which I'm told were military serial numbers. The view is partly cloudy as I'm sure the lenses inside need cleaning (see the second link for the picture showing the view through the binoculars- that's how mine look. The focus works, and the eye pieces adjust in focus as well. There is a retical in the view that has tick marks, I'm thinking for elevation and windage? Anyway, the original case was leather, so the case I have is old, but not the original case. Check out my other WW2 items as I get them listed (I'm researching these things before they get listed). Thank you.
