Description: Original WW2 German Army map which once formed part of a regional dossier of important military, industrial and municipal establishments. (The upper margin states "Nur für den Dienstgebrauch", which is equivalent to "RESTRICTED" in British military terms). It relates to DOVER and provides a fantastic overview of the locations which would have been key targets for invading German ground forces. The targets are shown as symbols with a basic key in the margin. Produced at a highly detailed scale of 1:10,000. The printing date of September 1941 is shown in the lower right margin with Roman numerals for the month and the year displayed as two digits. In great condition.
