CHARGING HANDLE ASSY Here's a 75+ year old steel Handle Assy that was GFE (Government Furnished Equipment) and used in a variety of USAAF Bombers during WWII. One of its applications was for the B-17's Bomb Door & Bomb Rack. Another use was for the B-25 Mitchell's Cheek or Side Blister Guns. (It may have also been used in other Mitchell positions for the gun-nose ships.) Consisting of a bracket with a cable adjuster, spring shaft and handle, their mounting locations varied, as can be seen in the manual images above. NOTE: This Handle Assy may have also been used in other types of USAAF Bombers. Check your manual(s).
