Please take a look at my other merchandise at your leisure.You are bidding on: Old WWII Photograph & Neg Japanese Supply Dump Jungles of Papua, New Guinea ~ 1942-1944 ~ "C" Pencil titled "J-p Dump" on manila storage envelope. This original 4x5 inch negative & original photographic print comes from a huge collection of photos and negatives saved by a serviceman in the "8 Ballers" - the 8th Photo Reconnaissance Squadron (A-2 Section I believe) at Papua New Guinea during WWII. I've seen dates on the envelopes from 1942 to 1944. DISCLAIMER: Negative was shot against a light table - not scanned - and it may show some distortion. Although the negative offers superior resolution, the 80-year-old negative may now have flaws that the print doesn't exhibit. This collection was gathered and saved by P-38 / F-4 Lightning pilot and photographer with the Fifth Air Force / Eighth Photo Squadron, Chester "Chet" "Willie" Williams.
