Description: for sale here is an extremely rare hardy marksman 6000 D , this reel is a hardy prototype that went into production as the ultralite DD 6000 , it is the only one in the world named as the marksman 6000 D , the original plan was to sell it to accompany the marksman rods at the time but they decided to name it the ultralite DD and go for a totally different design for the marksman reels which were only sold in much smaller sizes , 4 + 1/8ths" size , 155g weight , rear drag adjuster , left or right wind , counterbalanced handle , comes with an unused hardy medium black neoprene pouch..... .....all fully checked and serviced etc , you will not find another one , it is the only one made and marked as a marksman 6000 D , one or 2 tiny little scratches from being passed around for inspection by hardys directors and general storage but totally unused and excellent as can be seen.......please see my other listings of hardy and other vintage fishing items this week... if you buy a reel from me , you can be sure it has been through my workshop , lines removed , fully cleaned and serviced and any worn or damaged parts replaced with new ones , so no loose handles , no chewed up screws , no spool wobble or spindle wear , no bent or filed feet , no worn pawls , no loose rivets or missing parts , good tight springs and always described exactly as i see it , i do all the hard work so you dont have to worry about getting an inferior reel obviously the more vintage reels may have little flaws such as worn screw heads or paint wear or scratches etc but all items will be fully photographed and described correctly , if you are unsure then please contact me..
