Description: WMD Cool Down Test https://youtu.be/cAiZnSPbI8s?si=jOrTXyssX7_nuy46 ------------ New Raiju Micro RAM Pot for setting XOC RAM records on LN2 (or Dry Ice)! Extremely limited.. one time production! #12 of the 12 total pots manufactured. #12 demo/blem unit is the final unit available for sale. All other pots and extensions have been sold. Please note.. this is being sold at a discount as a demo / blemished unit as it has some very slight differences from the rest of the production units, but should be functionally nearly identical performance wise. These changes include; - No Raiju logo side engraving - No side temp probe holes - Centerline of the M3 tapped holes for the extension is very slightly off so extra care should be taken when mounting the extension) - Slightly modified design 1. Instead of 3/8-16 threaded holes all the way down, these step down to 1/4-20 about halfway 2. Deeper side wall grooves / thinner side wall overall (more surface area but slightly more fragile) *** Note- Only Compatible with two dimm slot motherboards. *** --- For more information, please visit.. https://zkoler.wixsite.com/zk-eng/ (Desktop site works better than mobile, but functional nonetheless) --- Included in this listing.. - Raiju Micro RAM Pot for extreme overclocking with LN2 or dry ice - Two ASA printed extensions - One ASA "Condensation" Jacket - Top Quality Hardware (with extras) - 3D CAD models of all components available upon request *** Aluminum Extension NOT Included - SOLD OUT*** --- The Raiju is an ancient, mythical beast out of Japanese folklore and is often depicted as a thunder wolf. "OneWolf" had a lot of influence on the design to help me (KingZeus) get this project rolling. He should also be credited with pushing me to keep it going after a couple months of being disinterested. These were produced on a Japanese Brother Speedio CNC vertical mill. We found the name fitting as a tribute to us both for the countless late night hours we spent optimizing the design for both performance & machinability. The genius mounting scheme is nearly entirely his contribution. A big thank you from me to OneWolf for his help on this. We ultimately fell short of our initial goal (price wise) of being able to offer an affordable alternative with near peer performance to the industry giants, but I believe we still ended up with damn good pot in the end and the preliminary results of the other eleven seem to be extremely promising. I hope you enjoy the end result of the year long project that got us here. It was anything but easy, but the Raiju did in fact come to be after all. Thank you to everyone involved in any way. I wouldn't have gotten here without you. -- RAIJU MICRO RAM POT - Surface Area optimized design to offer similar performance to copper pots by the big manufacturers but with all aluminum in a compact package - Made from 6061 T6 "Aerospace" Aluminum with Type II Anodize / Machined from a solid piece of Kaiser USA billet aluminum (the good stuff) - For two Slot Motherboards ONLY. That's approx 9.5-10mm center to center (.375-.395" for my inch friends). *WILL NOT WORK ON BOARDS WITH FOUR SLOTS / ONLY REACHES WHEN SIDE BY SIDE* - Compatible with 110 & 120mm heat spreader mounting holes which will work with most common RAM heat spreaders like Corsair, Bitspower, BartX, Bykski, Barrow, Freezemod, etc. due to the GENIUS OneWolf mounting system. - Compatible with 110 & 120mm heat spreaders in normal two stick config or in a CENTERED one stick config to put less strain on the motherboard DIMM slot - Bottom heat spreader contact surface flat within +/-.03mm (+/-.001in) although most are barely measurable at all and contact against Bykski & Barrow heat spreaders looks damn near perfect - Type II Anodize proper thickness and hardness for the ASMI spec TWO 1.2IN / 30MM EXTENSIONS 3D PRINTED IN ASA - Think of these as replaceable, although these printed in ASA should hold up fairly well (and better than PLA). - Consider using IPA instead of acetone for longevity with the ASA extensions. - ASA Extension uses 8 bolts to secure it rather than just four with the aluminum and should keep things sealed up even better. - ASA is a modified ABS Plastic that is tough and durable, impact resistant, and capable of handling extreme temperatures. It's commonly used in car/truck parts in both functional and cosmetic applications. - ASA is likely the best "normal" filament (under $50 a spool) for this application although extreme temperatures, acetone, and moisture are surely to put a beating on it over time. - If you give printing this stuff a shot, reach out. It's kind of nasty and can be difficult to get decent prints (warping), but it is doable with an enclosure. ONE "FLAK JACKET" 3D PRINTED IN ASA (AKA THE CONDENSATION JACKET) - What does it do? Does it work? No one is quite sure. But LN2 is cold, so it brought a jacket. - Could possibly be used as an intermediate layer around the bottom of the pot. Maybe. - Ribbed for your pleasure. TWO DDR3/4/5v2 RAM HEAT SINKS / HEAT SPREADERS - More critical than your pot to heat spreader mount, is your heat spreader to RAM mount. - Make sure to put the side that mounts to the pot on the side with the most memory chips. Go slow and tighten little by little. (Luumi has a good video on this process on YouTube) - I personally checked 6+ Freezemod and 4+ Bykski Heat Spreaders for flatness & parallel and was impressed. The mounting mechanism of the second side might not be the best, but if you are using single sided RAM and are paying attention to the mount, they do seem to be flat and square and give good contact. ALL MOUNTING HARDWARE + EXTRAS (HIGH QUALITY NYLON, ALU, STAINLESS) - Please note EVERYTHING is metric. DO NOT use your standard allen key set on ANYTHING here. 2mm, 2.5mm, and 3mm if memory serves me correct. - Barely any torque when bolting into the pot. We were getting perfect mounts using the two finger approach. Also, T handle or micro screw driver. DO NOT use the standard "L" shaped allen key. You need less torque than you think. - Use nylon bolts and nylon washers wherever you can to keep from damaging the small M3 threads on the pot (admittedly not the best design choice). - M3 threads leave only about .4mm (.010in) of thread per side once at spec. If you cross thread it once, it's likely gone. If a bolt is not going in smooth, Immediately stop and look into the issue more. Make sure the extension holes are lined up, make sure all the threads are clean, worst case, the internal threads can be chased with a M3 tap. All holes were drilled and tapped inside of the CNC machine so they will be perfectly straight / square with the part. If it appears to be going in at any angle at all, it's wrong- it should be 100% straight. - 3D CAD MODELS OF ALL COMPONENTS (FOR PERSONAL USE ONLY PLEASE) - CAD Models for the Pot itself, extension, flak jacket, and whatever else I have. Please message me for the download link. - As far as file type, I can only promise STL or 3MF at the moment, but I hope to provide .stp/.step at some point. This is you can 3D Print your own extensions as needed or design your own. *** Note - Aluminum Extension NOT included. --------- Cool down test courtesy of WMD- https://youtu.be/cAiZnSPbI8s?si=jOrTXyssX7_nuy46 ------------ Please check out the website for more information, back ground, and additional pictures. Free ship to lower 48 please. If you do not know what this is, this is not for you. Item is brand new and has been accurately pictured and described, but is being sold as is so no returns please. We'll work to resolve any potential issues but I do not foresee any. The other eleven Raiju owners are seemingly extremely pleased with the product and performance, so rest assured, you're getting a quality piece. Please remember these pots were a solo effort by an individual, not a million dollar company and while I believe they can compete in quality and performance, they are not 100% perfect. More pics available upon request. Please ask any questions prior to bidding. Willing to work with you on anything! Thank you! --- Note - Last picture of #6 blue pot is for visual comparison to the actual production units only and is obviously not included.
