Yamaha TY 250 OKO Carburetor Kit with throttle Cable

Description: This OKO carburetor kit is specifically for Yamaha TY 250 Trials bikes, TY250A, B, C & D. The carburetor is a genuine OKO, delivered to us directly from the OKO factory in Taiwan. It is not one of the cheap Chinese copies that have flooded Ebay. A Venhill Universal Cable is also included with this kit. We have been using these on TY 250s for over ten years, with excellent results. They offer smoother idling, instant throttle response and more power than conventional round slide carburetors due to the D slide configuration which breaks the fuel into smaller particles. Your airbox hose can be stretched slightly to fit the OKO intake (see photo). We gently heat the airbox hose to do this (heating in boiling water for a minute). Photos are of bikes we have either tuned for others or restored for ourselves. For relatively stock TY250s we have gotten the best results using the 26mm. If you have a WES exhaust and free-flowing air box, let us know and we will change jetting a bit. Also, we carry a limited supply of these carburetors in black.
