Description: This issue of YANK was published in the winter of 1944, shortly before the last major German offensive of WWII was launched in December, The Battle of The Bulge!! It is a FAIR copy overall in my opinion!! There is edge and corner chipping and minor tears on the pages & covers, the center page is loose from the staples and there has been one photo clipped out from the 1944 World Series between the St. Louis Browns and Cardinals only the 3rd time at that point when both teams were from the same city!! There are some great celebrity photos including Lena Horne, Bing Crosby & Jimmy Durante, Edgar Bergan & Charlie McCarthy, and many more!! There is also an article about the trial and execution of an Italian war criminal (see photos 6, 7 & 8)!! It has been placed in a sleeve and backed with foam board s shown in the last photo!!
