ZBS large Alexandrite Neodymium Dolphin or Shark 15 1/2 in. Long, Zelezny Brod

Description: This hunk of glass by Zelezny Brod Sklo is one of my most prized possessions -- but I have to downsize, so am letting it go to another collector. I have always called it a whale, but my husband pointed out that whales don't have a fin on their backs. So I guess it is either a dolphin or a shark. I purchased this from the ZBS factory sometime between 2003 to 2008 (I don't remember exactly, but not later than 2008 nor earlier than 2003). This very large dolphin figurine weighs a little over 4 pounds, and is 15 1/2 inches long to the tip of its tail. It is 11 inches tall at the upswept tail. I took lots of photos from different angles. This is a neodymium glass and changes color from lavender in normal light to blue in fluorescent lighting. ZBS called the color Alexandrit (which is the same as Alexandrite in American English). I have another large ZBS Alexandrite dolphin, not as large as this one, in listing # 266908796729. Perhaps you would want a pair of dolphin figurines? This will be shipped by either UPS Ground or USPS Ground Advantage rate (except for International).
