Please not that there is some fine debris located underneath the viewable control panel display cover. The debris does not affect the function of the unit or the viewing of the display and is very small. There is a faint surface scratch on the display cover as well (see photos and video). This does not affect the use of the unit. The unit is used so the surfaces may have minor imperfections/scratches from use. No visible dents. Item was tested and works. The unit has been thoroughly washed and is very clean. Steam vent assembly is in very good condition. This heating method occurs when a magnetic material is placed in a magnetic field. In a rice cooker, a system of coils in the base of the cooker creates the magnetic field.
